Steve Reed(2-4) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Tim Harikkala was credited with his 5th save. Doug Davis(5-2) was charged with the loss. Alan Dyche was in a talkative mood in the clubhouse, 'Great game! If only we could win all of the close ones - wouldn't that be nice! Since that's not going to happen, I think I'll savor this one for a little while.'
